Trentemøller among first Audioriver 2011 names

Polish festival Audioriver have announced the first batch of names for their 2011 event.

As we pointed out in our write-up of Audioriver 2010 as part of our August festivals of the month feature (the event came in at #2), Audioriver is among the most affordable event of its kind—€25 for a two-day ticket last year. There is of course a lot more to Audioriver than penny pinching: the location—a beach on the Vistula River outside the Polish town of Plock—is among the most visually gratifying you're likely to encounter of the European festival circuit, while the enlisted artists are usually among electronic music's biggest.

Danish producer Trentemøller backed by his full live band are perhaps the largest names among this first wave of artists. German producer Reboot will also bring his live show to Plock, while Berlin duo Modeselektor, Mobilee's Pan-Pot and Cadenza's Ernesto Ferreyra are the first DJs to be officially billed.

Advanced tickets will be available shortly via the Audioriver site (link below).
