Marco Carola's album tour will reach Dublin on Thursday 24th February.
The Italian techno artist is about to release his first album-proper since 2001's Open System. Play It Loud will drop next week through Minus—Carola's adopted label home—and contain 18 new productions in mix format. The album's sleek, minimal aesthetic is pretty much indicative of a Marco Carola DJ set, although the veteran producer does like to push the BPMs and intensity in the latter stages.
Carola will appear on the Twisted Pepper Stage come February 24th, and he'll be supported by Subject's Lee Kelly. The Basement, will be looked after by the Mr Jones Soundsystem (expect "electro and bass"), while the Mezz, will feature dubstep with DJs AV Kid, Kilbrew, Archetype and Emmo.
