BIG BEACH FESTIVAL'2011 at Japon
The first round of names has been announced for this year's Big Beach Festival in Japan, with Fatboy Slim once again stepping up as a headliner.
Big Beach Festival is Japan's answer to Big Beach Boutique, the legendary party in Brighton, England that once attracted 250,000 people to see the aforementioned Slim. Though the lineup for this year's event in Chiba is still quite small, the names included could hardly be bigger. UK techno veteran Carl Cox will drop in for a set. Minimal house icon Ricardo Villalobos will play as well, joined by Berlin-based tech house favorite Seth Troxler. As in previous years, the party will take place on two stages at Makurahi Seaside Park, and will draw in something like 20,000 revelers. Proceedings kick off before lunch and run through until 11:30pm. More names are due to be confirmed in the weeks ahead.
