¿Que es Coachella?
El Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, mejor conocido como Coachella, es un festival de todo tipo de música celebrado anualmente, desde el 1999, el tercer o cuarto fin de semana de abril en los “Empire Polo Fields” de Indio, California. El festival dura tres días y en los últimos años ha atraído a una multitud de más de 200,000 personas de los cuales la mayoría se ha quedado a acampar durante los días del festival. El evento ha sido encabezado por artistas de todo tipo de música (electrónica, rock-alternativo, hip hop, etc) y arte en vivo


Line-Up Coachella 2011

Este año, en el ámbito de la música electrónica los DJs que mas se destacaron fueron Afrojack, Laidback Luke y Skrillex.

La presentación de Afrojack fue acompañada por la presencia de Usher y Paul McCartney. Los dos andaban backstage fist pumpin' como unos duros.


Laidback Luke hizo una mezcla de dubstep nunca antes vista ni escuchada. Entre "Coming Home" de Skylar Grey, "Big Boss" de Doctor P y luego los vocales the Leave The World Behind y el instrumental de "Bass Cannon" de Flux Pavillion, la montó como nunca antes.


Skrillex fue acompañado por la banda Korn en la presentación de la canción "Blind".

Afrojack receives Grammy nomination (alongside co-remixer David Guetta)

The rumors are true and can be finally officially confirm that Nick van de Wall, A.K.A Afrojack, is nominated for his first Grammy Award.

The remix, done for Madonnas song Revolver, was penned with David Guetta in 2010. Released by Warner Brothers Music, the club version charted prominently and received heavy airplay. It was one of the standout commercial dance crossover hits of 2010.

Fans noticed immediately that Afrojacks name was mysteriously missing from the credits of the One Love Club Remix on the Grammy site, when the nominations came through. After some serious back and forth between management and the Grammys, word came in on February 7^th, 2011 that Afrojack would be credited properly for his work on the remix, and his Grammy nomination would be officially recognized.

Afrojack is nominated with David Guetta in the

Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical category
